Historic e-bike journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

We have carefully crafted this e-biking trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara on oure-bikes for a new kind of experience that has been unexplored yet. A 6 day “e-biking” tour that takes you through a small city of Trisuli towards Nuwakot that hold historical significance where King Prithvi Narayan Shah invaded to make it the capital of his ruling area.

The 7-storey Nuwakot palace that stands high on the top of the hill. Derived from the word “Nuwa” and “Kort” which literally translates to nine sacred religious sites or “City of Nine Hills”.

We head towards Gorkha, another historically very important city. A city known for the brave Gurkhas around the world is also a place from where the expansion of Nepal took place under Prithvi Narayan Shah.

We continue our ride towards beautiful resort in Begnas Lake and finish our trip in Pokhara which is considered one of the most beautiful city in Nepal.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)

Depending on your arrival time, our representative will be at the airport to receive you and transfer you to your booked hotel.

Day 2

Free Day in Kathmandu

After your breakfast today, we will check the gears that you have for the trip to ensure that you have a wonderful trip. You can also join an optional warm up ride to Nagarkot and back to Kathmandu. It will be a half day ride where you visit the popular hill station of the country and return back to Kathmandu to prepare for your ride the next day.

Day 3

Ride to Nuwakot (1025 M) – (45 Km, 4 Hr)

We start our ride from Kathmandu through the smaller road sections mostly to avoid the busy road towards Kakani. Mostly uphill until we reach Kakani following the paved road through the Nagarjun hill and arriving at Mudkhu which is a very popular cycling spot among the locals. We cross Teenpiple through the intersection of Ranipauwa and climb the last bit to Kakani. We will be rewarded with the beautiful Langtang range along with Dorje Lakpa and Ganesh Himal.

Day 4

Ride to Dhading Besi (612m) – (48km, 3hr)

We start our ride today from Famous Farm House with an easy jungle ride towards Bandre. The route to Bandre is mostly downhill from where we meet the hustle and bustle of Trisuli Bazaar and continue to arrive at a small bridge from where we our ride towards Samari Bhanjyang with mostly uphill through the gravel road where we can stop over for lunch at one of the local restaurants. From Samari Bhanjyang, we start our thrilling downhill and continue riding through the paddy fields of small villages including Bumpitghat where we cross a suspension bridge and continue our ride till Dhading Besi.

Day 5

Ride to Gorkha (1000m) – (54km, 3.45hr)

An experience going through the gravel road towards Gorkha along the metal-topped road till Murali Bhanjyang. The dusty roads starts from here. We continue our ride through the Budi Gandaki River and arriving at the Bungkotghat and continue through the dirt road till Gorkha which is one of the highlights of our trip due to the historical significance of this city where King Prithvi Narayan Shah ruled to unite the Kingdom of Nepal that is of today.

Day 6

Ride to Besisahar (760m) – (62km, 5hr)

The ride today starts with a beautiful downhill with bit of a dusty road and eventually meeting the main road after about 8 kms ride to arrive at Chepetar from where we continue our ride through the Madi Khola to cross a small bridge and take a left and continue uphill through the widened road to Bhanjyang. We head for sweet 10 km of downhill to the Marshyangdi River and stop at Turture for lunch. We continue our ride up to BhoteOdar and towards comfortable lodge at Besisahar that as swimming pool.

Day 7

Ride to Begnas Lake (650m) – 55km, 3hr)

Mostly uphill today we cycle through the uphill and some dirt tracks. Heading towards Begnas we are rewards by the amazing landscapes of the Himalayas through the small villages such as Ramkot and Sarke Bhanjyang and Bhorletarwhere we stopover for a quick tea to enjoy the view. From here we take a downhill through the forest until we arrive at a paved road from where we ride through gradual up til Begnas.

Day 8

Ride to Pokhara (1400m) – (20km, 1hr)

Very easy ride to Pokhara today through the paved road. We explore the gullies and the small roads from Begnas to Pokhara today mostly to avoid the busy roads of Pokhara but also to experience to local life in this rapidly growing urban city. We arrive early in Pokhara where we can enjoy the rest of the day wondering through the streets of lake side and having cold beer to celebrate the conclusion of the amazing ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Day 9

Fly Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we leave our cycle in Pokhara that will be transported by our staff to Kathmandu and take a 25 minutes scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival our representative will be in Kathmandu to receive you and transfer you to the Hotel Mulberry. You can spend rest of your day wondering around the Thamel where you can buy souvenirs for your friends and family.

Day 10

Free Day in Kathmandu

Free day in Kathmandu today and in the A farewell dinner at a fine dining restaurant will waiting for us as we are transferred to the restaurant in a comfortable vehicle. After the dinner, we will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 11

International Departure

Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport. The airport checks in is 3 hours prior to the departure time and the hotel checkout time is 12PM. In case our flight is late evening please let us know if you require half day use of the hotel.
