HRH Princess Prearana Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah Singh

Her Royal Highness Princess Prearana was born to then Their Royal Highnesses Prince Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Princess Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah on 21 February 1978. She is the second child and the youngest daughter to the royal couple.
HRH Princess Prearana Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah is the only daughter of Their Majesties King Gyanendra and Queen Komal. Besides her role as the princess of Nepal, she is also a doting mother, wife and philanthropist.

Education

After completing her higher secondary education in Nepal, she attended University of Roehampton, Surrey, United Kingdom for a Bachelor’s degree in Arts.

On 23 January 2003 HRH Princess Prearana married Kumar Raj Bahadur Singh in a Hindu wedding at Narayanhiti Palace. They have one son, Parthav Bahadur Singh, born 10 October 2004. Currently, HRH Princess Prearna is the Vice Chairman of Himani Trust.
